Congratulations to Kelly Springer (second from left) and Laura Baumgartner (second from right) who performed February 10-13, 2010, at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention and All State Choir Concert in San Antonio. It's a long, tough road to All State, involving four competitions. Kelly's and Laura's hard work and perseverance paid off. Congratulations to all of the choir students who participated in this years All-State Regional competition! This competition requires an abundant amount of study and perseverance - and everyone who undertook this challenge should be proud of themselves!

Panther All-State Members for 2009-10 are:

All-State Region 24 Treble Choir - Ashley Blankenship, Ashlyn Carter, Megan Moore, Kim Nolen, Julie Offill, and Courtney Searles

All-State Region 24 Mixed Choir - Kamran Ali, Tracey Borders, Laura Bumgardner, Katie Giberson, Taylor Mudd, Morgan PettyJohn and Kelly Springer

All-State Camps

Summer 2010 All-State camp information will be posted as soon as it becomes available. The camps below are listed as a courtesy and are in no order of preference to the Directors of the CHHS Chorale program. All-State camps are a valuable tool for students who want to excel in their preparations but your participation in these camps is voluntary and are offered at many different cost levels. However, to be included in the All-State competition it is required that you participate in at least one camp. Exceptions to this requirement are made by the Directors on an individual case basis but are limited in nature. GCISD is no longer offering their free camp.

Be sure to select your camp quickly as some of the prime camps will fill up fast and will have limited capacity. Some camps will provide the All-State music to their campers and some will not; be sure to find out about your specific camp prior to arrival at their location. For on-line ordering of All-State music, visit the J.W. Peppers website in the late Spring.
