Happy Friday! Thanks to all of our parents and students for making a point to attend Get Fit Day last Saturday! We hope the process was as simple and helpful for you all as it felt to us. Thanks to the wild weather this weekend, we hope you all have a chance to relax, rest, and refresh. Check below for important information and upcoming events. - CHHS Car Wash POSTPONED -
October 13, 2018 | 10 am - 2 pm | Spirit of Texas Bank
Due to the rainy forecast,the date for our CHHS Booster Car Wash is changing to October 13th! This is the first fundraising event of the year and we are still in need of student volunteers! We will send out a new sign-up sheet soon! Please help support the program and our fabulous booster team as we work to make this year the best it can be! Use the link below to sign up to volunteer. We will be at the Colleyville Branch of Spirit of Texas Bank at 5712 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, TX 76034.
- CHHS Open House | Get Fit Make Up -

Monday, September 17th is Open House at CHHS! Between the New Parent Meeting and Get Fit Day, we hope that most of the necessary information you will need for the year has been made available to you and would like to offer that evening as the make up for all students who were unable to attend Get Fit Day. We desperately need to ensure that all uniforms are taken care of by this evening, so please make this a priority! While we will not be sharing any information specific to choir that evening, we would love to still see all of the choir parents and will be available to answer any questions you may have! We will be in the Old Choir Room, F134 for the fittings and any Open House guests.
- Region 31 District Audition -
September 22, 2018 | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | L. D. Bell High School
The first round of the TMEA All-State process is only one week away! Thank you for your diligence and persistence in learning this music and working towards success in this process. We have been amazed and encouraged by student growth both musically and personally. A few reminders for the day of the audition: please wear your new red choir shirt, bring plenty of water/a water bottle for the day, and money if you would like to purchase concessions at the audition.

6:45 am | Altos/Basses Meet in New Choir Room at CHHS for Warm-Up
7:10 am | Depart CHHS (shared bus with GHS)
11:00 am | Sopranos/Tenors meet in New Choir Room at CHHS for Warm-Up
11:30 am | Depart CHHS (shared bus with GHS)
12:30 pm | Altos/Basses return to CHHS *return times are approximate
5:00 pm | Sopranos/Tenor return to CHHS *return times are approximate
- TMEA All-State Rehearsal Schedule -
On Wednesday, September 19th, following the release of the cuts for the district audition, we will hold a 'cut party' after school to review and rehearse these cuts as a group. On Thursday, in the old choir room from 4:00 - 7:00, students will be able to participate in a "mock audition" in which the audition process will be followed and students will receive feedback from both Mr. Rinn and Mr. Gilliland. - Region 31 Honor Choir -
Region 31 offers an wonderful audition and clinic opportunity to 9th and 10th grade singers as an alternative to the TMEA All-State audition process. Preparing and auditioning for the Region 31 Honor Choir is an excellent way to improve your individual musicianship and challenge yourself as a singer. The process underscores the CHHS Panther Choir program’s values of Professionalism, Responsibility, and Integrity and requires deep perseverance. All 9th and 10th grade choir members are highly encouraged to participate. See Mr. Gilliland for more information and to receive music packets.
