BELLA NOTTE SOLO AUDITIONS
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28th (TUESDAY AFTER BREAK!)
General Guidelines
Solos on the Bella Notte Dinner should use an accompaniment track. These will need to be downloaded audio files, not web links (youtube) to a track. You should audition with this track.
Any solo that is featured on the Winter Concert will need to use live piano accompaniment. You should provide sheet music for your solo at the audition and sing with the live accompanist should you wish to be considered for the Winter Concert. Check sites like "musicnotes" and "sheetmusicplus" to see if there is sheet music available for your song.
Please sign-up for an audition time HERE and indicate what song you will audition on. Please reference this list as you make your song selections as we will not feature the same song more than once. A list of music already being performed on the concert will be available soon and should also be avoided.
Music may be in any style/genre for this performance.

Welcome Amanda Hinders and Matthew Giallongo who are joining our voice faculty while Miranda Benham is away.

Amanda currently teaches private voice and does vocal coaching for some area schools. She attended Michigan State University and West Texas A&M University where she received a degree in Music Education with vocal emphasis. Amanda has a passion for musical theater and for performing, but her true love is teaching.
Matthew is presently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance at the University of North Texas. He has a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Gettysburg College. Matthew was an adjunct voice professor at Colorado State University and is presently teaching voice in the area.
FROM THE PANTHER CHOIR BOOSTERS
On December 14th, our choirs will perform their Winter Concert at the high school. Prior to the performance is the Bella Notte dinner with a fun Silent Auction. Feel free to send in auction items from now until November 29th, the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. Auction items can be turned in during choir, or you can contact Alisa Hancock (contact info below) for pick-up. If each student sends in one item, we will have a really great auction in which everyone will want to bid. This week, students received a letter that can be given to businesses who choose to donate if they need records for tax purposes. If you have questions, please connect with Alisa Hancock (alisahancock@hotmail.com).
