Panther Choir Newsletter 4/22/18

Thank you all for your support and attendance at the Spring Concert on Thursday night. It is always bittersweet to celebrate the last concert with our seniors. While we will miss their contributions to our program we are also happy to see them successfully moving into the next chapter of their education. This senior class was instrumental in the transformation of the Panther Choir Program ultimately garnering state and national recognition. During their four years of high school, they worked diligently and patiently and will leave behind a daunting legacy for those that are to follow. It has been a pleasure to share the past four years with these students and we could not be more proud of the young people they have become.

If you would like to order a copy of the Spring Concert, please VISIT THIS LINK. You may pay via PayPal or send a check to the school.

On Friday Mrs. Massey announced to our students that she too will be "graduating" from our program at the end of this year and moving on to an incredible opportunity as the head choral director at Frisco's Memorial High School that will open in the Fall. This is a wonderful professional opportunity for Mrs. Massey that will allow her to take the next step in her career as a music educator. While we are sad to see her go, we also look to the future with expectation and excitement. Having established the CHHS Panther Choir Program as one of the premier choral programs in the nation there is already much interest in the assistant choir director position. Over the next few weeks, we will be screening the many candidates interested in joining our team and I am confident that we will be able to find the perfect fit for the Panther Choir as we too move into the next chapter.
