Panther Choir Newsletter | 09.13.19
Happy Friday Panther Choir Singers and Parents! Thank you all for your help this past week as we completed Get Fit Day, Open House, and in our regular rehearsals each day! We are making so much progress as a program and it is exciting to see all of the growth that is already taking place. We hope you will take a few minutes to read through all of our upcoming events and performances and make plans to be a part of the fun and exciting things that are ahead.
- Outstanding Students -

Zanir Hirani
Senior
Tenor
Panther Chorale
Zanir is a 4-year choir member and is example of one of the many hard working students that both excel in academics at CHHS and in our choir program. We are continually impressed with his tenacity as he has worked to improve over his time in the CHHS choir. Starting in out Men's Choir his freshman year he has grown into one of our finest tenor leaders in the program!

Todd Hounchell
Sophomore
Tenor
Concert Tenor-Bass
Todd is involved both in choir and football at CHHS and brings his positive attitude and leadership skills to every rehearsal. He is a wonderful singer, but he really shines in his willingness to help and lead those around him pushing everyone in his section to be better.

Brooklyn Sarmiento
Freshman
Soprano
Choraliers / Di Voce Jazz
Brooklyn is a new student to CHHS choir this year coming from Heritage Middle School. She has jumped full force into activities at CHHS serving as the Pantherettes Captain, singing in Di Voce Jazz Choir, and being a great leader in Choraliers. We are so glad to have her with us!

Our first fundraiser of the year is coming soon! We love holding our yearly carwash, and we need student help! This is a great opportunity to promote our program in the community and to raise a little money while we're at it. We have two volunteer shifts that we are asking students to please sign up for: 8:30 - 10:30 and 10:30 - 12:30. Please mark your calendars and sign up to volunteer below!

- CHHS Choir Forms -
Thank you so much for your efforts to take care of all fittings, fees, and forms at our Get Fit Day and in the days following! If you have not completed any of these steps, please understand that each of these components is necessary and required in order to participate in our choral program throughout the year and can negatively influence a student's grade when unable to fully participate. We are excited to have you/your student in our program, and we look forward to getting these items taken care of so that they may fully participate in the Panther Choir. Please let us know if there is anything we can assist you with.

- Choir Fee & Uniforms -
There are required fees that are necessary from each student in order to rent and maintain uniforms each year. We understand with all the fees paid to the school and the district at the start of the year that it may often be confusing what you are putting money towards. We have created a brief explanations of the fees and the uniform requirements at the links below to try to clear some of the confusion. Please know that we do our best to accommodate every financial situation to the best of our ability, and we never want finances to hinder to student participation.
