We are excited about all of the interest in the Region Honor Choir this year! If you have not yet gotten a packet, please come see us as soon as possible to get started! Registration is due this Friday, October 4th. Much like the TMEA All-State process, the Honor Choir auditions stretch students in their music making and encourage strength in the individual performance process. This audition is specifically designed to be the first step for students interested in the TMEA process in the future, and it creates a wonderful experience that culminates in a performance alongside the Region 31 Choir of students auditioning in the TMEA process. - Homecoming Week at CHHS -

Homecoming week is THIS week and we are very excited to celebrate across the campus. As a part of the week, Panther Chorale will be singing at both the Friday pep rally and the Friday night game at Mustang-Panther Stadium. Please see below for instructions for both events.

- Pep-Rally -

All Panther Chorale students should meet in the new choir room at 8:30 on Friday morning in their Black Choir Shirt, jeans, and homecoming items (any students required to wear something different for a club or other extracurricular activity may wear that uniform). Once you have finished singing, you may return to any other groups or activities for the remainder of the pep rally.

- Football Game -

All Panther Chorale students should meet at the south gate, scoreboard entrance, of Mustang-Panther Stadium at 6:30 pm. You will not be allowed in any other entrance. Please wear your Black Choir Shirt, jeans, and homecoming items. Once you have finished singing, you will be free to watch the game.

- CHHS Choir Forms -

If you have not returned forms and fees or been fitted for a uniform, please understand that each of these components is necessary and required in order to participate in our choral program throughout the year and can negatively influence a student's grade when unable to fully participate. We are excited to have you/your student in our program, and we look forward to getting these items taken care of so that they may fully participate in the Panther Choir. Please let us know if there is anything we can assist you with.
