It was only 4 days, but with the PSAT, the end of the first nine weeks, and preparation for our first concert you all have a well deserved weekend ahead of you! Rest, relax, visit a pumpkin patch, and watch Harry Potter. We have a wildly busy week ahead of us: Fall concert, region and honor choir auditions, fundraisers, tailgates, and so much more. Please take a few moments to read through all of the upcoming events and opportunities and find out where you can plug in!
- Future Panther Night -
Friday, October 18 | 6:30 pm | Mustang-Panther Stadium
Tonight is Future Panther Night! All Choraliers singers, along with our middle school choirs, will have an opportunity to perform the national anthem at the Colleyville vs. RL Turner Football Game. Singers will need to wear their black choir and performance appropriate blue jeans (please no rips and tears). All singers will need to arrive and meet their directors at the south entrance to the field underneath the scoreboard at 6:15 pm. Come out and support these wonderful students and our CHHS Panther football team!
Monday, October 21 | 7:30 pm | CHHS Auditorium
Our Fall concert is this coming Monday evening! We hope all parents, family, and friends will join us for a wonderful first showcase of the fabulous work that our choirs and all of our students have been doing so far this year. All Students are to be prepared in full uniform and in place in the auditorium at 6:30 pm. If you should need any help with hair, makeup, ties, etc. we will have student leadership available in the choir room to assist you prior to the 6:30 call time. Please take a moment to read through all of the required uniform pieces and hair, makeup, and jewelry requirements. Please ensure that all singers have black dress shoes. With Dresses: closed toe flats or low heels. With Tuxedos: black dress shoe and black socks. All dresses have been returned to the school and may be picked up by students at any time. We apologize for the delay on tuxedos. All tuxedos have been delivered today, and should be available for pickup at any time.
- Region & Honor Choir Audition -
Saturday, October 26 | 7:30 am - 12:00 pm | L.D. Bell High School
Region and Honor Choir auditions are next Saturday! Cuts will be released for the Honor Choir Audition on Wednesday, and we will have a sectional to look at the specific portions of the music students will be auditioning on that weekend. Please take a few moments to read through the student instructions supplied by the Region 31 officers to help you prepare and plan for this day. We will be supplying travel by bus for both the morning honor choir audition and the afternoon region choir audition.
- Chorale UNT Invitational -
Tuesday, October 22 | 1:30 - 9:00 pm | CHHS Auditorium
Chorale will be performing as a part of the UNT invitational on Tuesday, October 22. Please continue reading for the necessary details to help be prepared for that day. This is a B day, so all students will need to take A lunch and then report to the choir room by 12:57 . Please wear performance appropriate jeans and your black choir shirt, and have your uniform packed in a garment bag. Please double check that you have included all items in your garment bag. Students will be excused for the remainder of the day. We will depart for UNT at 1:05. During our time at UNT, we will attend a vocal recital, have a clinic with Dr. Macmullen, and perform in a concert with the A Cappella choir as well as two other area high schools. Pizza will be provided for dinner, please plan to bring something if you have any dietary restrictions. The performance will be at 7:30 pm. All parents and family are welcome welcome at the Murchison Performing Arts Center at UNT (free admission) . We will be returning to the school by 9:30 pm. If you plan to have alternate transportation from UNT back to CHHS, you will need to fill out the Alternative Transportation Form.

- Bella Notte Dinner & Silent Auction -
Prior to our Winter Concert, we host a wonderful italian dinner and silent auction. We rely on our students and parents to support us through gathering donations for this auction, whether personal or solicited through businesses. If you are willing and able to help us by gathering a donation for this auction, please see the letter below to help provide information about our event and the fundraiser. We are also in immediate need of volunteers to help organize the silent auction. Please consider volunteering and reach out to our Booster president, Alisa Hancock at firstname.lastname@example.org for information or willingness to participate. Thank you for helping us make our program as successful as it can be.
- Butterbraid Fundraiser -
Thank you to all of the students and parents who participated in our Butterbraid fundraiser. Events like this are a large contributor to our program and to all of the opportunities and events we can create to support our students. If you have any last minute sales or purchases to make, the online store will be available until 10 am on Saturday morning using the link below. Please mark your calendars for Butterbraid pickup on Thursday, November 7th beginning during 8th period. These items come to us frozen and need to remain that way until prepared for baking. We ask that you clear freezer space at home or make plans for immediate delivery. If not properly stored, the Butterbraid will expand and rise as it thaws and will ultimately burst through its package. Please help us by preparing for this day!
- Panther Choir Booster Club -
Our Booster Club general meeting will take place this coming Monday, October 21 at 6:30 pm prior to our Fall Concert. Please join our leadership to discuss upcoming needs and events supported by our wonderful choir booster team. We are in need of volunteers throughout the year, and we rely on our parent support to provide wonderful experiences and opportunities for our students. If you would please take a moment to read through the following events at the link below and consider participating as a volunteer it would be of wonderful help to our choir leadership and students.
