Panther Choir Newsletter 10/16

We are excited to announce our first social event of the year! Our choir officers have worked hard on creating this event and we can't wait for you all to be able to be together for the first time this year (virtually of course). Our heads of households are excited to see their families and get to know them. We know that not everyone will be able to attend, but we highly recommend tuning in to the WebEx and getting to know some new people and making some new connections. We hope that your first nine weeks have been manageable and we hope that everyone stays safe and continues to persevere through these strange and difficult times.

- Choir Forms -

Thank you for your patience as we determined what forms and fees are needed for this year and our process for collecting them during hybrid learning. The CHHS Choir fee will remain at $55 for this school year. The choir fee helps to cover the cost of supplies such as our online learning packets, uniform pieces, and other activities of the program. Please note, that the district will not be collecting the Extra-Curricular Pay-to-Play fees that have traditionally been collected in Skyward. Please see the Registration Form below which will allow you to pay choir fees, upload and/or complete the required district forms, and purchase optional Booster memberships and choir merchandise.

*All forms are due by October 16th*

- Sing-Out -

The Panther Choirs are proud to present our first live performance of the year featuring our Ovation and Di Voce Jazz Choirs and soloists from our program. Sing-Out 2020 will take place at the Palace Theatre in downtown Grapevine. In order to meet state, county, and district safety procedures, the show will be ticketed using "seat buffering." You may purchase groups of tickets together for families or groups coming to the show together. When these seats are purchased, the system will automatically block out 2 seats to the left, right, in front, and behind the purchased seats in order to maintain proper social distancing in the venue.

All guests will be required to wear masks covering the mouth and nose for the duration of the performance per current Tarrant County and GCISD guidelines.

*Tickets will be sold for $5.00 each*

Tickets are now available at

If you have already purchased your tickets, please see the notice about the performance below.

Thank you for your purchase of tickets to the CHHS Choir SING-OUT.

All seats are reserved for this show.

Notice of Contact Tracing

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the City of Grapevine is requiring a contact tracing log for each patron at the Palace Theatre. For each purchased ticket you will be required to supply First Name, Last Name, Email, and phone number. This information will be collected when the ticket is purchased.

If you have already purchased your tickets, here is the Google Form link that EACH person attending the performance will need to complete.

*If this is not done prior to the performance, this information will be collected at the door of the Palace Theatre.*

Covid 19 Safety Precautions

In order to maintain the safety of performers and patrons, seat buffering has been turned on for this show. You may purchase no more than 4 tickets at a time. When tickets are purchased, two seats will be blocked out on all sides of the occupied seats. Per Tarrant County Regulations, seating capacity is limited to 50% in the Palace Theatre.
