The Colleyville Heritage High School Panther Choir
seeks to provide a rich music education for students with an emphasis on building strong character through music participation. With over 200 students in multiple ensembles, the CHHS Choral program has established a long tradition of excellence. Students in the Panther Choir maintain active performance schedules both as ensemble members and as soloists. The Panther Choirs consistently earn sweepstakes awards at UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Competition and have received accolades at festival performances throughout the United States. In 2003 under the direction of Danny Detrick the Panther Chorale was honored to perform as an Invited Choir for the Texas Music Educator's Convention. Individually students regularly place in the TMEA Region 24 Choir, National and Regional ACDA Honor Choirs, the Texas All-State Choir, and consistently receive superior ratings at Solo & Ensemble Contest.
